Chris Joss, le multi instrumentiste qui revisite depuis 1997 la musique noire américaine, mais également les registres Sound tracks des années 60 et 70 (John Barry, Lalo Schiffrin…), nous offre une session home-studio. Il s’agit plus du processus de création que d’enregistrement à proprement parler (prise et mixage). Nile Rodgers Master Class
Nile Rodgers Guitariste du groupe Chic, producteur de multiples tubes internationaux, grâce à l’équipe de Funk U ( Blaise n’est pas loin ), Nile Rodgers a fait une Master Class Guitar Funk de 16 minutes, un vrai plaisir… Seul, en tant que producteur et guitariste, Nile Rodgers a travaillé avec de très nombreux artistes, et a notamment obtenu des succès mondiaux avec Madonna (Like a Virgin), David Bowie (Let’s Dance), les INXS (Original Sin), Duran Duran (Notorious) et bien d’autres, ou dans un autre genre, la bande musicale du jeu vidéo Halo. En 2013, il participe à la guitare sur trois titres de l’album Random Access Memories de Daft Punk et particulièrement au tube Get Lucky pour lequel il a co-reçu trois Grammy Awards. Criss Joss ! Full Hardfunk !
Chris Joss est un musicien français, multi-instrumentiste et autodidacte. Fortement influencé par la musique de film de Lalo Schifrin, John Barry et Quincy Jones, Joss a fait ses début en 1996 avec son premier album The Man With a Suitcase qui marquait l’ouverture de son oeuvre qualifiée de « funky » et « downtempo » Sa particularité est d’introduire le fameux Clavinet dans ses compositions, distillant des tracks funk sans compromis (Gnomes, Toxic people) En 2004, son album You’ve Been Spiked est diffusé dans une réédition par la maison de disques ESL, ce qui permet à Joss de connaître du succès en Amérique Quatre ans plus tard, on voit apparaître l’album Teraphonic Overdubs qui sera le premier de quatre albums parus en quatre ans.
